Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?
I never know.
However, if anybody still reads this you might wonder where I have been. Actually, no you haven't. I think most people who read this know me. But anyways, yeah, sorry about this long delay in updating. I would say that it's because I've been really busy, but in reality it's just because I don't go on the computer very often unless I'm at work. And by work, I mean my internship. In case you don't know, I'm interning over at "WNPR, Connecticut's Public Radio Station and WNPR.org," and it's awesome.
As a result of this internship I became somewhat of a two-day spokesman for Lyme Disease. I was a guest on "Where We Live" and was interviewed on WFSB's evening news.
And seriously, all these celebrity deaths have been crazy. JFK Jr's death was a real shocker.

Update
I just took a break from studying and decided to come check out this website. I was just wondering if there were any new updates to this blog and then I realized that if there were recent updates, I would have written them. Therefore, I am the first one to know when this blog is updated. Hopefully if I do that again in a few hours, I will forget that I wrote this and be really interested in what I have to say.

Sweet Deal
Yesterday at Wegman's I got a 12-pack of Snapple Lemon Ice Tea bottles for $8.
That's a little more than 66-cents per useless fact. Why am I spending $40,000 a year at college when I could just buy a bunch of Snapple?
If I drank one a day for a year, that would require less than 31 12-packs. And that would only cost me $248, excluding tax. I think I just solved the educational crisis.

Sweaters for Mo!
On the February 21, 2009 episode of Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me!, Paula Poundstone was asked a question about sweaters being knit for chickens. Mr. Mo Rocca chimed in and said, "I hate homemade sweaters" and "Homemade sweaters are always itchy."
You can listen to the segment here. Click on "Panel Round Two."
After Mo's comments, knitters around the world expressed their outrage at Mo. They sent many angry e-mails to the show and some actually showed up to the taping of the last show. Well instead of pitch forks and torches, they brought Mo his very own homemade sweater.

Top story on Drudge: WHITE HOUSE DENIES BOW TO SAUDI PRINCE
Here is the link to the actual "story" on Politico.
This right here sums up everything that is wrong with this kind of news media.
But what's even worse is the comments section. Most of the comments are from conservatives who are angry that the White House lied and showed respect to foreign leaders. Fine, the White House denied the bow when it clearly looks like he did. But when the economy is a mess, public centers across the country are getting shot up, pirates hijacked a boat with Americans on it, and North Korea once again tested a long range missile, THIS is what's getting people worked up? THIS is what is at the top of one of the most popular online news outlets?
Apparently American presidents are not supposed to bow to foreign leaders. How arrogant can this country get? A back massage is okay, but a bow is not? I'll be honest: yes, the massage was humorous. Yes, I laughed. Did it deserve to make headlines? No.

When the United States is in as much of a predicament as it currently is, let's focus on something of importance. This is absurd. And I have a feeling it will only be going downhill from here.

Burn Burn
Potentially new band for you to check out: Nico Vega.
They just released their debut album and the single is called "Burn Burn."
WICB started playing them a few weeks ago and I had this song stuck in my head for my entire ride to CT.

Stereotypical Spring Break
I had the most stereotypical spring break ever. I spent pretty much the entire break drinking, swallowing pills, vomiting, and passing out.
To clarify: Drinking water, taking my antibiotics, vomiting, and passing out from the flu...or whatever it was I had/have.
Maybe not really that stereotypical, but I like to think I had an exciting time.
